Unemployment and underemployment

Some studies indicate that the unemployment rate in the Arab world reaches 15%, which is a very large percentage, and it is more than that in some densely populated Arab countries and may decrease in some Arab countries such as the Gulf States, but it is a big and frightening number.

Perhaps this type of unemployment (disguised unemployment) is the largest part prevalent in our world and our Arab and Islamic nation today, and there are statistics and studies point to the greatness of this crisis and its spread, including:

- The rate of production of the Arab employee per day is equivalent to only 15 minutes of work !!!

- That the production of the Israeli worker is equivalent to the production of 16 Gulf workers !!!

- The production of the European employee is equivalent to the production of 20 Syrian employees !!!

All of this shows and confirms what we have said that the production of the employee and the individual we have is negligible in front of his representatives in other nations, that is, the crisis of effectiveness in our real and not just mere obsessions.

Arab Production

Certainly, the productivity of an individual, employee or worker greatly affects the national and public production, and this is confirmed by budgets and figures, for example:

Israel's 2006 GDP ($ 150 billion)

Egypt's GDP for the same year was $ 116 billion.

If we take into account that the population of Egypt is ten times more than the population of occupied Palestine (called the State of Israel) and that its land area is larger than that which leaves no room for comparison, then the Israeli national product is greater than the Egyptian national product.

While Jordan's GDP (which is close to the so-called State of Israel in area and population) for the same year is only $ 16 billion !!!

Lebanon's GDP is only $ 22 billion !!!

Manifestations of ineffectiveness

1- The prevalence of unemployment (both real and disguised) which we talked about earlier.

2 - Slow production and achievement in most government departments and institutions as well as in many private companies and NGOs.

3 - The absence of new and innovative ideas in various aspects of life and the public and private sectors, but the new origin is an idea adapted from the West.

4 - the low level of the individual in various fields (living - cultural), compared to other peoples.

These are some manifestations of ineffectiveness have been confined to them with a lot of others for non-prolongation and because some overlap between being a manifestation and being a cause of ineffectiveness, and I have also been able to talk about some of the reasons that led us to this crisis.

Reasons for ineffectiveness
1- Lack of sense of responsibility, and this lack of feeling causes many, but the most important in the field of work is the lack of sense of the employee that he participates in decision-making and that he works in the institution as an essential and vital element.

2 - the lack of real and comprehensive accounting, many government institutions lose and fail and then rewarded officials promoted to higher positions or installed in their posts as if they have achieved and excelled !!!

Of course, accounting should be matched by the recognition and reward of those with achievement, creativity and dedication, which is also not available.

3. Many employees and officials are absent from their workplaces for long periods of time.

4 - The preoccupation of many employees and officials during the performance of their work on matters and concerns outside of their work and do not benefit anything.

5 - the deadly and boring routine in government laws and many private institutions as well, which is often an obstacle to employees, investors and creators to prove their presence and perform in a productive manner.

6 - the lack of vision and perception of many officials and those who are interested in permanence and discipline and fawn staff them more than their interest in production, achievement and effectiveness.

7 - the proliferation of the medium in various areas, which makes the employee or worker interested in them and relied on more than relying on his work and quality.
